OCA-DC’s programs focus on educating the public about Asian American history, culture, and issues. Awareness and advocacy are at the core of what we do. --Lily Qi
- Hate Crime Awareness Education (annual) Through a grant from the Allstate Foundation, we organize workshops that promote tolerance and fight bigotry, especially those targeting racial minorities and particularly Asians in schools, at workplaces, etc.
- OCA Forum (a few times a year) A discussion group that focuses on sharing perspectives, information, and ideas to learn about Asian American issues, improve our effectiveness at personal and professional levels, broadening our horizons and ultimately, improve our quality of life as Asian Americans.

Our diverse scholarships based on achievement and financial need help deserving APA students achieve the ultimate dream of a college education.
Internships
Our internship program provides students with great opportunities to understand national issues and policies , learn about Washington, DC, and get hands-on experiences at offices.
Entrepreneur Training
Our Entrepreneur Empowerment Training Program held in Chicago and New York City provides an intensive course to help both would-be and current APA entrepreneurs either start a business or expand an existing business.
