OCA-DC is made of members from diverse immigrant and native born Chinese American backgrounds as well as non-Chinese Americans. Because of our diversity, members use English to communicate with one another and are required to use English to conduct meetings and activities.
OCA-DC members are automatic members of OCA National. Starting from 2008, the annual membership fees are $40 for individual and $55 for family. The majority of membership fees go to support the national’s programs such as the Internship Program, the APIA Leadership 101 Training, and other advocacy work.

- $10 off Annual Gala ticket (if family membership, each member enjoys $10 discount)
- Free pass to family picnic ($10 a ticket) o Member rate for annual OCA National Convention (savings of about $50)

- IMAGE magazine from OCA National
- Part of a national network of over 10,000 members.
Ways to join OCA-DC membership:
- Download the membership form and send it with a check (please include an email address and your areas of interest)
- If a federal employee, use the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC #49176) to contribute and become automatic members.
- To renew membership, simply write a check for either individual or family membership and send to: OCA-DC Treasurer, P.O. Box 34943, Bethesda, MD 20827.
